United Mission to
Nepal (UMN) is an international development organization which strives to
address root causes of poverty leading towards fullness of life, as it serves

Position 1: Programme Manager –
Livelihoods (Kathmandu based with frequent field visits)
Qualification and experience:
- Master's Degree in Agriculture or any relevant field;
- Proven experience of minimum three years in managing agricultural-based livelihood initiatives. Experience with cooperative promotion will be an added advantage;
- Good knowledge and understanding of value chain and markets for the poor;
- Sound knowledge and experience in proposal writing and project management including planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting;
- Good networking, facilitation, training, coaching and mentoring skills;
- Excellent language and communication skills in both Nepali and English.
Position 2: Programme Manager- HIV and AIDS (Kathmandu based with
frequent field visits)
Qualification and experience:
Master's Degree in
Public Health or equivalent;
- At least 3-5 years working experience in public or community health programmes in governmental or nongovernmental organisations;
- Good knowledge of Nepal's health situation and understanding of the national health system;
- Work in a multi-cultural setting;
- Project management experience is desirable;
- Sound knowledge and experience in proposal writing and project management including planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting;
- Excellent language and communication skills in both Nepali and English.
