Research and Development Centre, Nepal (RDC Nepal) is a national non-profit and non-governmental organization working in the areas of agro-forestry, climate change mitigation,
good governance, research training and education in different districts of Nepal since 2003.
The organization is in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of
the United Nations and has Observer Status with United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and with United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
The organization announces a vacancy of a qualified individual for the following post:
Position: Program Director
Qualification : Master's Degree in NRM, Agro-Forestry,
Environment and Social Science or any discipline related to the work of the
organization.
Work Experience : 7-10 Years experience in the similar field.
Duty station : Kathmandu with the possibility of frequent visit to the program districts
Contract type : Special Service agreement
Responsibilities : The candidate will be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:
1 . Prepare concept notes, proposals and project report.
2. Support the capacity building of staff and key stakeholders to facilitate planning,
implementation and monitoring of the projects.
3. Maintain effective coordination with funding agencies and other stakeholders.
4. Engage in regular field visits to backstop monitoring and reporting of project accomplishments.
